Monica Shriver enjoys a diverse and creative career performing all kinds of music. She can be seen performing in a wide variety of musical situations all over Arizona. A professional musician, composer & arranger, and teaching artist, Monica has played in big bands, jazz combos, pit orchestras, rock bands, chamber ensembles, and orchestras. Monica regularly performs on all the saxophones, flute and piccolo, clarinet and bass clarinet, and is currently working on her bassoon and electric bass chops.

Monica Shriver is the founder of the Doublers Collective, a unique and progressive jazz saxophone quintet based in Phoenix, AZ dedicated to the study, education and performance of professional doubling.

Monica Shriver is an active member of the North American Saxophone Alliance (NASA), Jazz Education Network (JEN) and MENC. Monica is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas.

Monica earned the prestigious SURDNA Fellowship Grant in 2010 and a professional growth grant from the Arizona Commission for the Arts in 2011.
